In 2057, the world was in a state of war brought on by religious conflict. Terrorist organizations and world governments, so involved in the war, began to crumble. As churches burned and individuals were killed on the streets for their beliefs, society in general began to turn away from religion in order to distance themselves from the blood shed and save themselves and their families. Crime skyrocketed as resources became scarce and local law enforcement began withering away. During this time, the Labyrinth Corporation began an unprecedented push to seize large amounts of untapped real estate all over the globe. Large domes began rising from their lands. Cities began growing within the domes and a promise of a new utopia free from the conflicts of the outside world. People began flocking to the Labyrinth cities in swarms as the fingers of religious zealots threatened each other with tactical annihilation. The Labyrinth Corporation facilitated its own security with the introduction of the Morlock Corp. Their size and strength grew quickly and soon was considered the largest army in the world unaffiliated with any one government. Of course, they strictly remained within the confines of the domes to enforce the law and protect all occupants from several terrorist attacks. In 2069, the well thought out plans of Labyrinth Corporation saved millions of lives. The world woke up one morning to a global extermination. A wave of energy from outer space rippled through our solar system. Most of the human race were wiped out or wished they were due to the waves’ effect. The populace of the Labyrinth Corporation domes remained completely unaffected by the wave. World governments fell. Pockets of survivors, mostly from government facilities, now had no choice but to relinquish power to Labyrinth Corporation. The world and all of its resources now belonged to Labyrinth. The Morlock Corp became the worlds’ army.
